Heat Exchangers and Radiators

Scrappy’s buys heat exchangers and radiators.

A heat exchanger is a system used to transfer heat between two or more fluids. Heat exchangers are used in both the cooling and heating process and found in machinery, vehicles, industry and manufacturing.

The classic example of a heat exchanger is a radiator found in front of a car engine, circulating fluid known as engine coolant through radiator coils and air flows past the coils, the air cools the coolant and heats the incoming air. Heat exchangers are widely used in space heating, refrigeration, air conditioning, power stations, chemical plants, petrochemical plants, petroleum refineries, natural-gas processing, and sewage treatment.

The materials used to construct radiators and heat exchangers include aluminium, copper, brass, heavy steel and other metals and alloys. Everything used to manufacture heat exchanges is recyclable and in demand.
